About the Program
This 3-day intensive is a certified CBCT® (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) Training, developed at Emory University. Participants will be introduced to a secular method of cultivating compassion rooted in Tibetan contemplative traditions and modern neuroscience. This training is ideal for professionals, educators, health workers, and anyone wishing to skillfully share compassion practices with others.

About the Teacher
It is an extraordinary opportunity to receive this training directly from Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi, Ph.D., one of the original developers of the CBCT® program.
Trainings led by Geshe-la are rarely offered outside of major institutions—and almost never in Hawaiʻi. This is a unique chance to study with the main teacher of the tradition in an intimate setting, at a significantly accessible tuition.
Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi, Ph.D. is a senior teacher and co-developer of CBCT®, Executive Director of Emory University’s Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics, and a lifelong practitioner and scholar of Tibetan Buddhism.
